集会主持人王晨旭特别强调了中国女性在父权制社会中的处境，并表扬她们在追求独立、平等和自由方面的努力，认为这些追求是民主的基石。同时，对女性在男权社会中被定义和压迫的现状表示歉意，并号召重视女性的力量。
