[Never Forget] Amsterdam Memorial Rally for the 37th Anniversary of the Tiananmen Square Massacre

Time cannot erase the scars of the long avenue. Candlelight illuminates the unfinished dawn of freedom.

In the spring of 1989, countless Chinese students and citizens gathered peacefully in Tiananmen Square to call for democracy and freedom, only to be brutally suppressed by the military and tanks on June 4th. Thirty-seven years have passed, and while the truth of this history remains strictly censored within China, the spark of freedom has never been extinguished.

Standing on free soil, we have a responsibility to fight forgetting with memory and to speak for those who have been silenced. We sincerely invite all friends who stand for democracy and freedom to gather at the National Monument in Amsterdam on June 6th. Let us come together to offer flowers and our deepest condolences, to mourn the fallen heroes who sacrificed their lives for democracy, and to ensure that history is never erased.
